FAQ

Trading

What does a trade cost?

$0.02 per request, a close fee of 0.004% of size, and 2% of profit on a winning close. The open fee is 0 at launch. There is no funding fee. See Fees.

Can I lose more than my margin?

No. A loss is capped at the position's margin. The $0.02 execution fee on each request is on top.

Why did my fill differ from the price in the ticket?

The ticket shows a preview at the current price. Your order fills at the next oracle price after you send it. See Orders and fills.

Why was my order refunded?

The market was paused, closed or close-only, a limit was hit, or the order expired. The app tells you which. See What can happen to a request and Troubleshooting.

Why is my profit queued?

The house pool pays winners from its cash. When it is short, the profit waits in the payout queue. Your margin comes back right away.

Account

Do I need to sign every trade?

Not with one-click trading: one wallet transaction registers a browser key that signs trades for you, until you revoke it. It cannot withdraw.

Do I need a wallet extension?

No. Create a wallet here in the connect dialog makes a Parchment wallet in your browser, with a passkey or a password and recovery phrase. It is self-custodial: only you hold the key. Continue with Google opens a Slush web wallet instead.

Does the Parchment wallet ask me to approve every action?

No. Actions you take in Parchment sign right away. Withdrawals, sends and account transfers always ask for your password or passkey. Turn on Ask before signing in Your wallet to review every signature. The wallet does not lock on its own unless you set Auto-lock.

Can I deposit from another chain?

Yes, from Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche or Solana, through the Mayan bridge: bridge to your Sui wallet, then one Sui signature deposits it (and sets up your account if you have none). Withdrawals to those chains are paid in USDC. See Deposit from another chain.

Do I have to accept terms?

Connecting a wallet means you agree to the Terms of Use.
